Why is that ?
Because kingdom spotlights, at best, deal with the opening turn or three, for the most part, and Punt and Stygia are often allies from the beginning.
In theory, any kingdom can end up as another kingdom's enemy, before the game is over. Stygia has little reason to be surprised by Punt in the opening turns, though.
The kingdom spotlight that I wrote for Stygia is not an exhaustive analysis, by any stretch of the imagination. It was longer than the average kingdom spotlight written up to that point in time, though, at the time that I wrote it.

The turn results for the first nine turns, for the kingdom of Stygia for Hyborian War game number HW-811, have been posted on the Hyborian War Repository page of this site.
I dropped this position, after my Daddy died. While I played in this particular game of Hyborian War, I allowed another player (Zebhu Varkon) to issue orders for approximately half of my characters.

I did not know you dropped because of your fathers passing. Sorry for your loss. I was looking forward to mixing it up with you so my win is less rewarding without having faced you.

My dad passed away while playing 780. I tried to win that one for him since he saw me playing it, and got the win at that.

My condolences on your father.
Interesting read. Definitely a different path than I took with STYG in my maiden game! Between this and your Yeuteshi plan for Turan I'm certainly thinking of navies as being for more than just wandering around seazones.

I didn't control the Stygian imperial navy. That was controlled by Zebhu Varkon, also. I would have been more likely to invade Juma's Kingdom early on with it, had I been calling all of the shots, myself.
