There are many different views of right and wrong, good and evil. We have laws that govern morality, and advocate groups that help shape these laws. Where are we headed in the way of morality based beliefs ?

There seems to be no distinction between law and morality. There are passages by ancient Greek writers, which suggest that the good person is the one who will do what is lawful. It is the lawgivers, in these societies, who determined what is right and what is wrong.
