RE: Hyborian War Credits Poll
I deleted that option, simply because it's the Hyborian War specific teams that I am interested in hearing about. REH was the inspiration, certainly, but he played no role, otherwise, in the creation of the game - a game that came about long after Robert E. Howard was dead.

I don't recall knowing Sue Solberg, and I don't even know if she is still involved with RSI's website for Hyborian War, but the website aspect seems to me to have been the weakest of all of the sections under consideration.

For me, I think that I am inclined to go with the Implementation team. The kingdom descriptions were certainly what persuaded me to try the game, and it is the writing that I think is where a lot of the game's flavor is derived from.

The programming is critical, in the sense of the game would not exist, if it were never programmed, but I think that the design team ranks ahead of the programming team. The programmers brought to life what the design team conceived of, certainly, but the programming team's efforts seem to have been plagued more than the design team. Of course, the design team thinks of stuff and jots it down, in a way, whereas the programmers did more heavy lifting, workload-wise.

As far as the art team goes, I think that the maps are great, but that the cover art isn't. Becker did a great job with his role, but his role seemed to be more limited than the others on the art team.

RE: Hyborian War Credits Poll
I heard a rumor that RSI wants to try and fix some bugs in the program. Let's hope they contact someone with some knowledge, shall we. Not some crazy recluse that runs a website for 5 or 6 people and a dog.

I find it almost bizzare that this game hasn't undergone a complete overhaul at this point. I'm still fairly new to the whole HW scene, and things are still fresh and semi-exciting for me. But I also can see multiple opportunities to make this game something better. With all of the stuff that long term players seem to complain about on a regular basis, you'd think something would get done in this regard. I find it a bit amusing that no one has come forward to help RSI remake HW. Seeing how there is no shortage of players that more than dabble in game programming, and trouble shooting.

I vote for the Implementation Team. I'm assuming that means the 2 fine and lovely ladies who do such a wonderful job of taking care of my game turns.

Ignorance is bliss...,I am Blissfully aware of this!

Thinking about it all I think it was Implementation that seems to have worked best. Aside from some friends showing me their turns , that 4-page with the brief rule summary picture of Conan & especially the snapshot summary of the kingdoms sold me on it. I think the kingdom set-ups & even the Rulebook was mostly well done. That some things didn't work seems to from Programming.
I think the overall Game Design comes next. Art - the maps very good esp the wall map but the 2nd one has a couple errors. Kingdom maps very good. Some of the covers for certain kingdoms have warriors & or horses or both that are drawn just plain wrong anatomy-wise. I know if I walked by some of the ones depicted - the Hyperborean Noble the Stygian MI ? the Khitaian HI ? etc - all look ready for business & I wouldn't dream of insulting them !
You can at least look up the rules on the web site. Best I can say about it.
