I received a call, last night. Twas then and there that I learned my my first brother-in-law had died.
Passed away, as they say. The suspected cause of death? A blood clot in his leg that made its way to his heart.
I hate that he died. I always liked him. That's not to say that I liked everything that he chose to do, over the course of his life and during the time that he was married to my oldest sister, but only a purely personal level, I always got along with him pretty good, I think.
Long ago he and I used to shoot basketball, together. We also played many a game of horseshoes, together.
And just like that, his time on the Clock of Life expires - as did he.
